Michael Adkins for Wayne County Commission
“Your Voice, Your County“
01
Transparency
Wayne County residents deserve to know what is happening at home. As your commissioner, I will ask questions, answer, and act. Disclosing where your tax dollars are being spent, engaging in real conversations with folks who need answers, and being in the community should be the bare minimum.
02
Community Engagement
No more good ‘ol boy system. We will focus on infrastructure and community investment. Parks for our children, resources for our underserved citizens, and continued conversations with businesses bringing careers and opportunities to our corner of West Virginia.
03
Education
Our public schools need help. As a business-owner, I have financed multiple school projects and sports teams across our county due to local leadership’s inability to focus on our youth. Our educators, students, and parents our the cornerstone of our community. It’s time they received the attention they deserve.

Help Us Keep Up The Work
Campaigns can be expensive. Help us keep up the fight for Wayne County.
A Candidate who Shows up
Michael Adkins was born and raised in Wayne County. After noticing a need for opportunity in our state, he and his wife started GMB Powerline Services, now proudly employing over 1,000 IBEW electricians. Along with donating $250,000+ to local sports teams, non-profits, and community engagement projects, Michael and his family have dedicated their life to serving West Virginia.

Why Now?
After the Wayne County oil spill, Michael pleaded with the Wayne County Commission to do something to help his community. When his words fell on deaf ears, he and his family decided it was time to take a stand. Donating mobile showers, water, and clothes washing stations to the city of Wayne was just the beginning. After Winter Storm Fern, Michael and his company dispatched thousands of skilled linemen across the country to guarantee that even our most vulnerable citizens kept their lights on.
